There will be new rules in place for businesses that import and export goods from the EU. Companies based in England, Wales and Scotland will need to complete the following actions shown in the diagrams below so they must be prepared.

These steps are for all businesses that import goods from the EU. If you receive goods by post or are importing from other countries, then the guidance will be different.

The steps shown below apply to all businesses that export goods to the EU. If you send goods by post or are shipping goods to countries outside the EU, then there will be other guidelines you need to follow.
